This Numbers # matching 1970 Chevelle SS 454/360hp LS -5 belongs to Jim Hunt of Bakersfield, Ca. (so. cal). He bought this car out of Scottsdale, Az. about a 1-1/2 years ago through E-BAY. It was really in rough shape when he bought it. Tons of clean up, from front to trunk! The car was built in Kansas City in the 4th week of Sept. 1970. Then it was shipped to San Diego, Ca. and sold there. Jim is the third owner of this car and it has been his goal to keep it original as possible. He has added a Edelbrock air gap intake manifold, Mallory ignition, and added a holley 750cfm carbuator. The turbo 400 tranny has been rebuilt and shift kit added. A posi rear-end with 4:10 gears powers this beast. Since buying the car Jim has entered 2 car shows and it has rewarded him each time with a first place trophy. (not bad!)
